Just glance at the NBA’s salaries. Then see the gigantic sponsorship deals. There’s money literally everywhere. The world of luxury real estate might now be as competitive as the hardwood. Legends of the game have often invested their massive contracts into sprawling, opulent estates, filled with the glossiest amenities. However, even the best of them struggle to find buyers once they move on. Just ask the best of the best: Michael Jordan. His 32,683 mansion in Highland Park, once listed at $29 million, eventually sold for just $9.5 million after 11 years on the market. A monumental 67% price drop!

While some people have to adjust according to expectations, others are betting on a higher value. Enter Tony Parker. According to Market Watch, the San Antonio Spurs legend recently relisted his Texas estate, 9 Rue Parker, at a bold $20 million, after previously listing it at $16.5 million in July, defying market norms and making a statement about his belief in the property’s value.
The estate is nestled within the gated community of Anaqua Springs Ranch and spans 53 acres. The mansion was designed not just as a home for Tony Parker, but as a private resort. “I like to host, and when my friends come from France, you know it’s a long flight, so I wanted a place where they can come for long stays,” the former NBA star said.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the estate is the private water park, designed by Six Flags’ mastermind, Keith Zars. The 59,000 man-hour installation includes speed slides, lazy rivers, waterfalls, and even a diving platform, making it one of the largest in Texas. The project has incorporated 2,100 gallons of concrete and 13,000 pounds of steel, rivalling attractions open to the public.

The rest of the mansion is just as impressive. It has six bedrooms, five full and four half bathrooms, dual offices, a library, a theatre, a meditation suite, and even a barber studio. It also includes a 1,500-bottle wine room, a professional gym with a basketball court (of course), and multiple outdoor courts for sand volleyball and tennis.
Parker, who initially envisioned the estate as a retreat for his inner circle, has reportedly achieved his goal of creating memorable moments. The former Spurs guard wishes to pass on the property to focus on life in France, specifically running the LDLC ASVEL basketball club in the Betclic Elite League. Interestingly, Michael Jordan and Tony Parker’s real estate holdings are not the only aspects of their wealth that are comparable.

Tony Parker redefined luxury yachting with sustainability, beating Michael Jordan again!
This isn’t the first time Tony Parker has quietly leapfrogged Michael Jordan in the luxury industry. Jordan owns a 244 ft. superyacht named M’Brace, which features a huge swimming pool on the sun deck, a symbol of sheer opulence often associated with NBA superstars. However, Parker’s own superyacht, the Infinity Nine, has recently earned a prestigious 3-Star SEA Index certification, which is awarded to vessels committed to eco-friendly design. While Jordan’s yacht portrays sheer extravagance, Parker sets a benchmark by combining luxury with environmental responsibility.

That’s not to say Infinity Nine is lacking in luxury. The 35-meter yacht accommodates 12 guests and seven crew members, featuring a jacuzzi, a bar, a DJ booth, and a deck space for sunbathing. The design enables transatlantic journeys of up to 6,500 nautical miles, ensuring a comfortable experience on extended voyages.

The exceptionally well-maintained vessel, which was put on sale for $12.6 million in 2024, now stands as a symbol of forward-thinking design. Parker, proud of the work of art, said, “From the design phase, we wanted to build a vessel that combined innovation with respect for the environment. This is the direction that yachting is heading… I hope it will help raise awareness and motivate others, so that every boat heads in the right direction.”
It is interesting to see how the NBA has empowered its stars, providing them with a platform to help everyone achieve success. Tony Parker’s net worth in 2025 is estimated to be $85 million. Interestingly, it was Magic Johnson who once told Tony Parker, “Don’t wait until you retire to start creating your network.” The latter was merely 23 years old at the time, but took the advice quite seriously, and here we are – he’s now a business tycoon, investor, and you name it!
