According to South China Morning Post, in a conversation with a bunch of youngsters, he said, “Dream big, believe in yourself, be prepared, and be committed.” He added, “Your journey is custom-made for you, like what I always told my son – be obsessed with your journey, because you can take aspirations from other people’s journeys, but be obsessed with yours.”

He emphasized the importance of obsession. According to Wade, obsession leads to exponential amounts of success. He also made it clear that he tells his 21-year-old son Zaire Wade the same thing. Zaire is an upcoming ball player who we might see in the NBA soon. A few weeks back, Dwyane was spotted drooling over his son’s ball skills.

After getting waved off from the NBA G-League, Zaire signed for the Cape Town Tigers in the Basketball Africa League. There were clips circulating online which highlighted Zaire’s flamboyant display on court. The clips comprised of his best layups and precise shots from beyond the arc. Wade tweeted, “If chose your response was a person! Prada you, son @Zaire: Big B Media.“
