“I’ll Try to Make Something Happen”: Los Angeles Lakers Player Vows to Introduce Himself to Rihanna

Not long ago, pop star Rihanna popped into a basketball game involving Los Angeles Lakers. Since many know her as a LeBron James fan, it wasn’t surprising to see her in a Lakers game.

But during the game, she seemed impressed by another Lakers man, Alex Caruso. In fact, it was the moment that caught social media’s eye. A video emerged where Rihanna was seen appreciating an Alex Caruso move. However, they did not seem to have met after the game.

Talking about the incident in a recent appearance on The LiucciCast,” Caruso said he would greet the pop star if they were to meet again.

Celebrities always around Los Angeles Lakers games

The Lakers, counted among the biggest franchises in the NBA, has a great fan following even amongst celebrities. And with LeBron James playing with them, it is only bound to grow. Caruso, who has been a part of the Lakers side since 2017, felt good to see celebrities watching him play this season.

“The L.A. factor mixed with the LeBron factor, like everywhere we’ve gone this year, it’s the biggest game of that person’s (season)… Like when we went to Atlanta, you could name like 10 different Atlanta rappers who were there that ranged from like current day people, to like Ludacris and people like that… Everywhere we go its celebrities left and right that want to see us play. I step onto the court and I’ve got certain people watching me and I’m like ‘oh, this is pretty cool.’”

Their performances also have been on the top level this season. Prior to the league’s suspension, the Lakers were on top of the Western Conference with 49 wins. Their 0.778 record was second only to Milwaukee Bucks. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading them, they were among the favorites to win the title this season.
