The Des Moines-born’s entire family congratulated Caitlin for her precious achievement. Her parents Brent Clark and Anne Nizzi-Clark sent their wishes for their daughter. The video also had her younger brother Colin Clark and elder brother Blake Clark showing their care and wishing her good luck while enunciating the hard work Caitlin has done to reach the place she is at.

“Wow, Caitlin! Congratulations! Love you so much. Huge milestone, huge number,” Anne expressed her joy.

“Congratulations on becoming the all time leading scorer in women’s basketball history. I’ll never forget all the blood, sweat and tears we shed together. Whether playing in the driveway, at the gym, or on the mini hoop in the basement. It’s been a privilege growing up with you, and watching you mature not only as an athlete but as a human being and as an ambassador for the women’s sports,” her young brother Colin Clark remarked.

“Congratulations, Caitlin! What an incredible achievement and an awesome testament to all the work, the passion, the love, and the joy that you brought to the court your whole life. We’re so proud of you, we know this is just the beginning of what’s becoming a fantastic career,” her elder brother Blake Clark exclaimed.

Caitlin’s family has stood by her since her first steps in basketball. Her father Brent used to ply his trade in basketball and baseball during his college days. Her mother Anne-Nizzi too had athletic roots since her father Bob Nizzi was a football coach at Dowling Catholic High School. Her parents supported her balling skills since she was a child. Her father put her to compete in the boys’ recreational league since he could not find a girls’ group of her age.

It looks like athleticism runs in her genes. Her older brother Blake participated in football for the Iowa State. Blake was also a quarterback at Dowling Catholic High School and was a walk-on at the Iowa State Cyclones as per Sportskeeda.
