George Kittle, the San Francisco 49ers’ tight end, has been enjoying his NFL off-season with his wife. After showcasing his dominance in the 2023 NFC Championship Game, by defeating the Detroit Lions 34-31, he thrilled his fans with his second Super Bowl appearance on February 11, 2024. During his 7 NFL seasons to date, Kittle has secured  6,274 receiving yards, 13.6 yards per reception with a remarkable 37 TDs. After witnessing his splendid college football playoff for the Iowa Hawkeyes, the San Francisco 49ers selected him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft. He has earned two nominations to the All-Pro First Team in 2019 and 2023 and two to the All-Pro Second Team in 2018 and 2022. Additionally, Kittle has secured numerous NFL and 49ers franchise records.

Kittle attributes a large part of his success to his wife, Claire Kittle, who supports the Pro Bowler with all her might.  The couple met during their college days at Iowa University in 2012 and started dating each other in their freshman year. And then they decided to make forever vows in 2019. The duo once again caught the attention of their fans for their undying love with each other via their 5th marriage anniversary posts.

Taking to his official Instagram account, five-time Pro Bowler, George displayed his adoration for his wife on their 5 wedding anniversary. By sharing multiple pictures with her wife, the NFL player penned a heartfelt message for his lady, captioning the post,” 5 years! A day has not gone by that you haven’t made me smile, I hope I’ve done that for you! Cheers to many many more years and great times. Love you Darlin ❤️” Apart from sharing glimpses of his joyous moment with his spouse, George also shared a hilarious snap depicting their face sketch represented in the tootsies as 2 image in the post, grabbed the attention of many.

George also reposted his wife’s IG story and expressed his eternal love for her. He also seemed overwhelmed reposting his mother Jan Krieger’s post on special occasions. Jan Krieger wished the couple on their special day with an eye-catching note, which read “Mom, can we plan a wedding in 5 days? Hell yes we can and we did! Happy 5 years🤍”. George’s mom revealed that Kittle’s marriage occurred suddenly without premeditation. Kittle also recalled her spontaneous marriage on her 5 anniversary.

From spontaneous vows to everlasting love

George Kittle’s wife Claire Kittle also took to her Instagram account to cherish her 5 years of togetherness with George, sharing a sneak peek into their “spontaneous marriage”. She refreshed her wedding day memory with a note that read, “5 years ago we spontaneously got married on a Wednesday in a jewelry store downtown Iowa City.” Apart from that, she also addressed the moment as the “greatest adventure” by tagging George in her IG story. However, George also re-shared his wife’s “adventurous” marriage post.

And Claire wished her husband, showing her love with the caption “@gkittle Happy anniversary I love you.” Claire and George Kittle have been celebrating their biggest day in a unique way. From recalling their spontaneous wedding to their real wedding memories, the couple touched many hearts through their anniversary post. Claire also revealed that she married him twice on April 10 2019 and April 11, 2021. She disclosed that the couple had a real wedding on April 11, 2021, on their property itself with a limited gathering. Only their family, bridesmaids, and groomsmen attended the marriage.
