The Atlanta Falcons are going head-to-head with the Arizona Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium on November 12. This would be a significant game for the 4-5 Falcons to set their season in the right direction. It is their Running Back Bijan Robinson who will be a key element in the game. The game is special for Robinson as he gets back to his humble beginnings, being native to Tucson, Arizona.
On the other hand, the Cardinals have been facing an extremely underwhelming performance this season, currently at 1-8. While they’ll look to turn the edge in their favor in any possible way, it is Robinson and his side that’ll host the major attention of the NFL world catering to the clash.

Bijan Robinson making waves in Arizona
Bijan Robinson started his football career at Salpointe High School before he became a Pop Warner athlete. It didn’t take long for him to be notorious in the state of Arizona as Robinson made the varsity, casting doubt on his upperclassmen. In a game, per reports, Robinson scored 8 TDs and at one point, he ran for a 70-yard touchdown, leaving the opposition to dust.
A tweet from the Falcons revealed his stats during his high school career. The RB finished his high school years with a whopping 114 TDs and 7,036 rushing yards, averaging 13.4 yards per carry. This was unheard of and the coaches, the staff, and everyone in Arizona knew that Bijan Robinson was special.
“I was standing right there on the side and I’m like, ‘Oh my, I’ve never seen anybody do that, I mean, it was just the pure strength, power.” Salpointe’s HC Eric Rodgers mentioned the comment after witnessing Robinson playing staggeringly. His career at the Texas Longhorns is nothing short of applause either.

The RB’s homecoming!
Though he is playing for the Falcons at the moment, Robinson has left quite an impact on Arizona’s football community. The RB is known for his humility and his hunger for knowledge. As revealed about the star, Robinson used to attend even the meetings he wasn’t required to in his early days, only because he wanted to know more about the game and learn it inside out.

He had left such an impact on Salpointe High that their teams ran practice drills designed after observing Bijan Robinson. The RB is quite a legend for the High Schoolers and in the off-season, he practices with them and trains them. Though he is representing the Atlanta Falcons, old sentiments still linger inside his psyche and he wants to make his home proud. “Being a guy that Tucson has looked up to for a long time, it will be like putting on for that city (and) for Phoenix,” Robinson said. “It’s gonna be special.” How do you think the game will pave out for both teams especially the native of the state?
