The Buffalo Bills are wrapping up final preparations before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to town in Week 11. Both teams suffered losses last week. Both want a win badly. But the Bills might be dealing with a bigger problem, as Josh Allen might lose one of his offensive weapons before the game.

As per reporter Alex Brasky, “There is now a real chance Keon Coleman is inactive against the Buccaneers.”

That hits hard in Bills Mafia. The receiving corps is already shaky, Dalton Kincaid just went to IR. Josh Allen needs help, and he might be losing another option.

However, Keon Coleman has not made things any easier with his slow start. He came with big expectations, but the results are not there. People are not just asking about production anymore.

Coleman has had 32 catches for 330 yards and has scored 3 touchdowns in 9 games this season.

And last week was an all-time low. Coleman caught only 3 of 8 targets against the Dolphins. He had 46 yards and scored 1 touchdown against the Dolphins.

Even Josh Allen might be losing patience. In the Week 10 postgame, Allen paused when asked about Coleman and finally said, “He got one today, so yeah.” That said everything.

HC Sean McDermott also talked about Coleman’s situation.

“We address effort when it needs to be addressed. So if there is, we address it. I can promise you that with any situation, any player, everyone’s held to the same level across the board. So high pick, you know, not a draft pick, whatever it is, I think that’s one of the great, great things that we do is that even level of accountability.”

And now it seems McDermott is ready to address the situation. Recently, the head coach made two key moves to reinforce the wide receiver room.

The Bills’ passing game keeps stumbling. The offense put up only 13 points against the Dolphins last week. That is not enough for Bills Mafia. So, head coach McDermott wants new faces. He wants someone who can give Josh Allen real support.

The Bills signed Mecole Hardman to the active roster. They also elevated Gabe Davis from the practice squad before the matchup against the Buccaneers. The Buffalo fans know what this means. The front office is trying to fix things fast.

Then there is the role part. Hardman came in on Tuesday. He will at least help as a returner. That alone gives Buffalo a spark. Meanwhile, Gabe Davis is back on the field for the first time this year. He worked his way through a torn left meniscus. Now he wants to prove he still belongs with the starters.

And the Bills made more moves. Buffalo activated defensive tackle T.J. Sanders from injured reserve. They also released returner Brandon Codrington. Tight end Keleki Latu came up from the practice squad because Dalton Kincaid was ruled out.

So let’s see if this helps Josh Allen against the Bucs or not.
