Travis Kelce isn’t just dominating on the football field; he’s making waves in Hollywood, too. Though new to acting, the Chiefs star has impressed his Happy Gilmore 2 co-stars with his charm and natural charisma. Actress Julie Bowen summed it up perfectly: “Please, is anybody surprised? He’s a star. He’s always been a star… He continues to be a star.”

Comedian Adam Sandler also praised Kelce in an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in July: “Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with.” Even Olympic gymnast Suni Lee has noticed his magnetic presence. Suddenly, the football star isn’t just a touchdown machine; he’s a rising Hollywood favorite, capturing hearts on and off the screen.

Recently, Suni Lee shared her experience working with an NFL TE on the American Eagle “Tru Kolors” campaign. Virtual Reali-Tea by Page Six’s IG handle highlighted Lee’s admiration through a post. “Suni Lee says she ‘had the best time’ working with Travis Kelce on the American Eagle ‘Tru Kolors’ shoot,” they mentioned in the post caption, adding a red heart emoji.

In the reel posted on Wednesday, Lee, the 2020 Olympic all-around gold medalist, described the campaign as “really, really fun,” adding, “It was just so cool to see… I think a lot of the times when you see super big athletes, celebrities, you don’t think they’re as personal as they are. He was the nicest person I’ve ever met. And all the other athletes were amazing as well.” American gymnast highlighted the camaraderie on set: “It was like a little family, and we had the best time.”

Similarly, Niecy Nash-Betts praised Kelce while working with him on Ryan Murphy’s Netflix thriller Grotesquerie: “Travis was very open if there was a note or a suggestion. So amenable. ‘Tell me what I don’t know. Tell me what your thought is on this.’ I love that he didn’t come in trying to act like, ‘I know everything.’” American actress also called him “very professional” and noted he “always came prepared” to set.

Moreover, Nash-Betts added, “Listen, I love actors and I want you to win. So anything I could do to help… I was completely there for it. I just think fans are going to find him very charming in this role.” Clearly, both Lee’s and Nash-Betts’ remarks show the same thing: Kelce’s warmth, humility, and magnetic presence shine wherever he goes. However, Kelce’s influence doesn’t stop at sports or entertainment. His energy and charisma are now shaping his fashion ventures as well.

Kelce expressed his excitement in a press release with People back in August 2025: “I’ve had to keep my excitement about this collab under wraps for nearly a year. It was an awesome opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on every decision in the design and creative process that brought the collection to life.” Clearly, his involvement went far beyond lending his name: he helped shape the creative vision.

Additionally, he also disclosed, “I started Tru Kolors in 2019 on the foundation of showing up authentically and having fun with style, and we wanted this collab to reflect that same energy. I want everyone to feel like there is something for them in the collection, something they can feel good in and make their own.”

Interestingly, the campaign also includes rising tennis star Anna Frey, women’s basketball guard Azzi Fudd, quarterback Drew Allar, and top receiver recruit Jeremiah Smith. Their inclusion demonstrates how Kelce bridges sports, culture, and style, creating a campaign that resonates with athletes and fans alike.

The collection launches in two drops—August 27 and September 24—and features over 90 pieces priced between $14.95 and $179.95. From vintage-inspired tees and rugby polos to varsity jackets and cashmere sets, each design reflects Kelce’s focus on versatility and self-expression. As Suni Lee’s Instagram post shows, Kelce’s authenticity and charisma carry through every project, making Tru Kolors a natural extension of the charm and energy that define his career.
