Week 11 of the NFL season is over, and with each passing week, the NFL draft order is shuffled. For many teams, their season is already over, and it’s time to look towards the 2026 NFL Draft. The Tennessee Titans seem to have a chokehold on the No. 1 overall pick, but behind them, it’s pure chaos. Picks 2-10 are changing every week, and if the Titans mess around and win another game, they’ll have some competition for that first pick.

For those of you who are fans of a bad team (myself included), this story’s for you. Today, I’ve mocked the first 10 picks of the 2026 NFL Draft, and for those of you whose team is still in contention, I’ve included the full draft order at the end of the mock.

1. Tennessee Titans (1-9)

Rueben Bain, DE, Miami

For my last two mock drafts, I’ve predicted trades for the No. 1 overall pick. While I believe that is certainly a possibility, I decided to go a different route with this mock and have the Tennessee Titans stick and pick at No. 1.

There are a few defensive players that could end up going No. 1 overall this year, but the Titans desperately need help off the edge, so I have them selecting Rueben Bain from Miami, who is the consensus top pass rusher in the draft. Bain has just three sacks on the year, but he’s being double-teamed almost every play, and he ranks first in hurries with 46 and fourth in pressures with 54. He is a beast off the edge, so I think this is a fairly easy pick if they stay put.

Stats: 54 pressures, 46 hurries, 3 sacks

2. New York Giants (2-9)

Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State

Arvell Reese might be the best overall player in the draft this year. He has 58 total tackles (30 solo), 23 pressures, 6.5 sacks and has broken up two passes. He’s a do-it-all linebacker, and will be an instant starter for whoever drafts him. The New York Giants have the luxury of having their quarterback in place, so they can get a guy who will instantly bolster their front seven, which already includes the best edge rusher room in the NFL.

Stats: 58 tackles, 23 pressures, 6.5 sacks, 2 PBUs

3. Cleveland Browns (2-8)

Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Fernando Mendoza has been my No. 1 overall pick for a couple of weeks running, but with the top two teams not needing quarterbacks, I have him falling to the Cleveland Browns at No. 3. I don’t really like any of the quarterbacks in this draft class, but teams will always use a top 10 pick on one if they have a need, and the Browns obviously do. Dillon Gabriel isn’t their future and Shedeur Sanders looked like trash in his NFL debut. We’ll see if he can be better with a full week of practice, but I think they’ll be shopping for a QB in the draft or free agency.

Stats: 73 percent completion, 2,641 passing yards, 216 rushing yards, 35 total touchdowns, 5 INTs

4. New Orleans Saints (2-8)

Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

Caleb Downs is a guy who, if he played any position on defense other than safety, likely would be the No. 1 overall pick. He is so talented, but he plays a position that typically doesn’t produce a ton of top 10 picks. Ever since he stepped on the field as a true freshman, he’s been one of, if not the, best safety in college football. The New Orleans Saints have a need a safety, and pairing him alongside Jonas Sanker would be one heck of a duo for years to come.

Stats: 46 tackles, 2 INTs, 134 yards allowed, 0 touchdowns allowed

5. New York Jets (2-8)

Peter Woods, DT, Clemson

Peter Woods has been hyped up as a top five pick all year, and while Clemson is struggling, he’s been playing pretty well. I know a lot of people expect the New York Jets to draft a quarterback, but with Mendoza gone in this mock, I think they find a cheap replacement for Quinnen Williams, who they traded to Dallas at the deadline. Again, I don’t love this QB class, so I think they punt to 2026 when they have three first rounders and pick up Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, or someone like that in free agency.

Stats: 29 tackles, 20 run stops, 13 pressures, 3 sacks

6. Las Vegas Raiders (2-8)

Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

The Las Vegas Raiders traded away Jakobi Meyers at the trade deadline and are left with next to no receivers. They and the Browns have a massive need for receivers, and with Cleveland getting their quarterback, Jordyn Tyson, the No. 1 WR in the class, falls to Vegas at No. 6. Tyson is a stud. He’s 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, and was playing amazing football through the first seven games of the year, but a nagging hamstring injury has kept him out since mid-October. He’s still the best WR in the class by a pretty good margin in my opinion.

Stats: 57 receptions, 628 yards, 8 TDs

7. Washington Commanders (3-8)

Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Is this the smart pick? No. Is this the fun pick? Absolutely.

Jeremiyah Love is probably the most talented offensive player in the draft this year. He’s an explosive runner, but is also very good as a receiver out of the backfield. He’s been incredibly productive for two seasons now and is arguably as good of a talent as Ashton Jeanty. The Washington Commanders have a huge need at running back, so if they want to maximize Jayden Daniels’ rookie contract, adding an explosive playmaker on offense could make some sense despite their defense needing a lot of help.

Stats: 1,135 rushing yards, 274 receiving yards, 17 total TDs

8. Los Angeles Rams via Atlanta Falcons (3-7)

Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

Mansoor Delane is the best cornerback in the country, and I don’t think it’s particularly close. As an LSU fan, I’ve seen A LOT of great cornerbacks come through the program, but Delane is one of the best ones. He is a lockdown corner who can play man or zone, and someone’s going to get a stud on the backend of their defense. Right now, the Rams don’t have a ton of needs, but cornerback is one of them. They can afford to reach a bit for someone they love, so I have them taking Delane here, and I would have them taking him as high as No. 4 or No. 5 (which is where they could end up picking with Michael Penix and Drake London out for multiple weeks).

Stats: 38.2 completion percentage allowed, 167 yards, 0 touchdowns, 2 INTs, 9 PBUs, 29.9 passer rating

9. Cincinnati Bengals (3-7)

Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

The Cincinnati Bengals really need offensive line help. That’s been apparent for years. They’ve ignored it for a while, and all it’s done is get Joe Burrow injured. Now that he’s on a massive contract, they can’t afford to let that keep happening, so they need to invest in an offensive lineman this year, and the best one in the draft falls to their lap at No. 9. This is a simple, easy pick for a team that has a lot of needs.

Stats: 316 pass blocking snaps, 5 pressures, 0 sacks

10. Arizona Cardinals (3-7)

Makai Lemon, WR, USC

The Arizona Cardinals could go a lot of different places here, but for fun, I have them taking Makai Lemon, who is one of the most explosive players in the draft. They already have their X-receiver in Marvin Harrison; now they need someone who can work the slot, and that’s exactly what Lemon can do. He also plays much bigger than his 5-foot-11 frame. He’d be an electric playmaker in this offense.

Stats: 71 catches, 1,090 yards, 8 touchdowns

16. Houston Texans (5-5)
