Is Davante Adams on the move again? A spicy analyst takes has tongues wagging, shaking up the NFL chessboard. On Get UP ESPN, Harry Douglas dropped a bombshell prediction: “Don’t rule out the Raiders… Brandon Aiyuk could be traded for Adams!” Wait a minute, did he just say Aiyuk for Adams? Let’s unpack this wild trade rumor.

Here’s the logic: The Niners’ WR Brandon Aiyuk called for a trade request after contract negotiations stalled. He’s a young fellow with incredible speed—kind of like a mini-me version of Adams. Analyst Douglas pointed out, “Aiyuk was at Arizona State and if they trade him, they’ll potentially get rid of Davante Adams and chip him up somewhere.” That said, the Raiders might be shopping Adams and see Aiyuk as his potential replacement.

Just imagine Derek Carr slinging laser beams with Aiyuk—that’s an offensive upgrade Raider Nation craves. Plus, the Vegas team has the cap space to make Aiyuk a happy camper with a hefty contract.
Unfortunately, Aiyuk’s trade request was officially shut down by the 49ers. San Fran does not want to trade their WR, nor do they want to improvise his contract. They’re offering the veteran wideout $26 million per year, which is significantly less than what other WRs are getting. That said, it does look like the 26-year-old’s stuck with the Niners for atleaset this season.
While all of this is a real nail-biter, it’s fun to note that if this trade with Aiyuk were to happen, Davante Adams could reunite with his old buddy Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers wishes to play with former teammate Davante Adams
Remember the whispers of a reunion between Rodgers and Adams when A-Rod got shipped to the Jets? Well, those whispers are turning into shouts thanks to some not-so-subtle comments on the golf course. Rodgers publicly declared his love for Adams during a celebrity golf event. “I love Davante,” he said, adding, “I can’t wait to play with him… again.”

This isn’t a one-sided love story, though. Raiders’ veteran wideout Adams admitted Rodgers has been “in his ear” about reuniting. Sounds like these two can’t get enough of each other! But let’s face it, a Rodgers-Adams reunion would be a dream come true for NFL fans. Back in their Green Bay days, the duo was a force to be reckoned with. The highlight reels, the touchdowns, and the sheer dominance—fantastic!
The Niners have Aiyuk at the moment, and this trade to Raiders ain’t likely to happen. But let’s say if it did, the Rodgers-Adams connection would be quite a story to watch.
