The Texans’ quarterback, CJ Stroud is making his mother, Kim, one proud mama. Apart from proving to be quite the offensive player in his rookie year, the 23-year-old is showing the world that he is as good off the field as he is on it. After a recent storm hit Harrison County just a few days ago, the athlete was spotted helping affected families get their yards cleaned up and even threw a football around with some of the neighborhood kids.

In a post on X, clips of Stroud being the kindest man alive found themselves being the center of attention. With the world stunned by the 23-year-old’s big heart, it even wound up on his mother, Kim’s For You page. The mother of four commented on the video, “I love you son!!!!” After all, his act of kindness had even been recognized by the football community as a “class act.”

The whole world seemed awestruck by the casual humbleness of the young athlete. However, it was not his first time giving back to the community that gave him an NFL home. After being drafted into the Houston Texans last year, Stroud and his mother set up a charitable foundation that helped underprivileged children.

With Stroud so focused on giving back to the community, it looks like his mother expected no less from her loving son than to pitch in when the city needed help. Thankfully, he did not shy away from the challenge when it came. Fans might finally be seeing a deeper side to Stroud. However, the athlete has to be doing something right to catch the attention of Hall of Famer, Tom Brady.

Tom Brady sings CJ Stroud’s praises

Tom Brady might just be psychic. Days before CJ Stroud went viral on social media for supporting his community, the former Patriots star surprisingly complimented the young quarterback by calling him an example of a good teammate. In an episode of The Pivot Show, the 46-year-old stated, “I really appreciate where he came from and all the expectations that he had, and then what [he went] and put together last year with a lot of humility.”

Brady elaborated on what he looked for in the younger generation of quarterbacks by adding, “When I watch quarterbacks, the first thing I watch is, does he endear himself to his teammates?” Shortly after that, the 7-time Super Bowl winner added that Stroud “does feel like one of the guys.” With the 23-year-old getting such a huge compliment from a football icon during his second year in the league, the Texans quarterback could once again take the team to new heights.

After all, just last year, Stroud managed to lead the Texans to a divisional win and even got them to the playoffs. With a 10-7 streak and an Offensive Rookie of the Year win in his first season with the team, fans could see the 23-year-old go the distance this time around. However, nothing can be certain until the season kicks off later this year in September.
