It all started 8 weeks ago when the Jets veteran QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles. Recently, we’ve been hearing a lot about Rodgers getting better, supporting the team from the sidelines, mentoring Zach Wilson, and practicing his throws in the MetLife Stadium. The fans are elated and hopeful about the prospect of the Jets’ $75 million royalty to finally yield some fruit. But some look at this quick recovery situation with a different set of eyes.
It all started with a wild conspiracy theory but lately occupies the mind of every NFL fan. On The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, Billy Gil let his thoughts out in the air and got everyone scratching their heads. For instance, Sports Illustrated picked it up and called it an ‘absurd take’. Rodgers’, on the other hand, took up a rather rectifying stance on the “unrealistic” timeline for suiting up again.

Dan Le Batard has different thoughts on Aaron Rodgers’ recovery
Billy Gil of the LeBatard Show was suspicious about Aaron Rodgers’ quick recovery. Per him, Rodgers’ injury is fake, and he never really tore his Achilles in reality. These opinions seem like a hyperbole at best. Dan Le Batard doubled down on Gil’s theory and put his thoughts on a pedestal. The latest episode of the LeBatard Show picks the situation up from where SI left it and Dan Le Batard again, added to the hot take.
OH WOW: Dan Le Batard would like to debate #Jets QB Aaron Rodgers about his ‘alleged’ achilles injury saying his doctors are “FAKE” 😳
“I want to debate you on I believe your doctors are giving misinformation on how injured you actually were.”

“Aaron Rodgers, your doctors are fake, debate me. I wanna debate you on I believe your doctors are giving out misinformation about how injured you actually were, and I believe this is all a storyline plot meant for you,” Le Batard strongly contested on the latest episode of the podcast.
“Is it crazy to wonder if he (Aaron Rodgers) never actually tore his achilles?…” – @billygil

This is actually a really hot take and might put Aaron Rodgers in the wrong light. Whether Aaron Rodgers will choose to debate Dan Le Batard is a mystery.
In the original storyline, Le Batard touched on the topic of Rodgers’ darkness retreat. He indicated that it might have changed something for him. He previously touched on one more theory that involves the NFL.

Le Batard’s theories aside, Rodgers’ return will take “a few fortnights”
In one of the previous shows, Le Batard pointed out that the whole Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift thing is a ruse from the NFL to drive more ratings. Again, this seems like a hyperbole, just like his Rodgers theory. He also joked about Rodgers coming out of the darkness retreat. “I must come back hell-bent on beating science.’” said Le Batard referring to the quick recovery Rodgers is showing.

Aaron Rodgers is not using crutches to walk around anymore. He is seen doing some light drills like throwing the ball and getting back in touch with the game. Recently, he also expressed his desire to make it back to the field ahead of time. However, that remains to be seen. But again, one cannot ignore Aaron Rodgers’ recent revelation about his comeback. During his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show”, Rodgers clarified his comment about being back to action in “a few weeks”. He mentioned that the whole conversation was a silly banter with a friend, and refuted from the previous unrealistic timeline. Rodgers added that he is more like “a few fortnights from suiting up again.”

Le Batard’s contradictory thoughts have certainly raised some eyebrows, but again, contesting a medical report and medical professionals seems like a bit far-fetched step. As Rodgers said, it’s certainly gonna be a few fortnights before he returns back in action.
