As per a report from TMZ, Jared Goff has finally tied the knot with his fiancee, Chirsten Harper. The ceremony reportedly took place over the weekend in Ojai, California on Saturday, June 22. It was a private ceremony where only the family members were in attendance. Harper reportedly choked up with overwhelming emotions as she said, “I do.”

Jared Goff keeps his promise to Christen Harper
In an interview with PEOPLE, Jared Goff spoke about his wedding plans with his now-wife, Christen Harper. The 29-year-old quarterback promised a wedding that the couple would “remember forever.” Goff revealed that Harper had “roots” in California and promised to marry her in the same state to accommodate all their family and friends. With the private ceremony in Ojai, the NFL star has kept his promise to Harper.
Christen Harper has also been a key source of inspiration for the Lions QB. The two initially met on a dating app, Raya, in 2019. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the model revealed that she was coming off a long-term relationship before meeting the footballer. While she wanted to be “single for a year,” Goff changed her mind. According to her own words, “the rest is history, baby.”
In 2021, when Goff was traded to the Lions, the couple had quite a settled life in California. While she hesitated initially, Harper decided to move to Detroit with her then-boyfriend. Not only that, she has even put up with death threats whenever Jared Goff lost a match. Christen is extremely passionate about the sport and she was nearly moved to tears in December 2021 when the Lions snapped a 15-game skid.
Once the newly married couple finishes their wedding festivities, Goff will return to the field on July 23 as the Lions’ training camp kicks off. The franchise made the playoffs last season with Goff playing a big part. Now, with the big-money contract extension, the Motown faithful will hope that the three-time Pro Bowler builds on last season’s success and takes the next step to reach the Super Bowl.
