With 3,795 yards thrown and 29 touchdowns with a mere 7 interceptions throughout the season, Prudy is a clear candidate for the MVP. And the 23-year-old displayed his class against the Cardinals by making 4 TDs. But it was not just his touchdowns that stole the show.

Week 15’s game was the 13th career start for Purdy, where he recorded a 100+ passer rating. He is 3rd in that list behind the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and HoFer Kurt Warner.

If the 49ers QB keeps on playing with this form, also taking into consideration his young age, he is a sure to shatter the record for most games with a 100-plus passer rating in a QB’s first 20 starts. But he is not the only one wowing everyone with his plays. QB Lamar Jackson also stunned everyone this week.

Lamar Jackson is displaying his worth

Earlier this year, the saga of contract renegotiation was at the center of attention for Lamar Jackson. He agreed to a $260 million for 5 years, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history. But the 26-year-old has been showing the Ravens that he is worth every penny.

Jackson was as good as he’s ever been. But his 26-yard pass to TE, Isaiah Likely, in the third quarter against the Jaguars, was on the next level. The throw was made in a mere 7.24 seconds, and it had a 1.3 yards of target separation, accounting for the movement by Likely.

But the most head-spinning stat was that the pass had just an 18.7% probability of completion. This pass was Jackson’s 2nd most improbable completion of 2023. The most improbable one was thrown in Week 4 with a completion probability of just 17.1% to TE, Mark Andrews.
