The Buffalo Bills gave Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs a run for their money. A week ago, the narrative was that this is Mahomes’ first playoff game in the Bills Stadium, and it might be problematic for him to win. Despite the naysayers, the Super Bowl winner did it again and stayed on top of the Bills Mafia-Chiefs Kingdom rivalry.

Now the Kansas City Chiefs are headed to play against the Baltimore Ravens and Patrick Mahomes has a blunt message for naysayers and the opposition. A reporter caught hold of him on the sidelines after the divisional game concluded in 27-24 Chiefs favor. Safe to say that cold weather can’t stop the Chiefs, the only way to stop them is to play good football!

While the media was making up scenarios about Patrick Mahomes’ road game, he was listening and waiting to clap back at all the apprehensions. Now that Mahomes has won a road game, those fledgling arguments didn’t take long to falter. By the looks of it, Patrick Mahomes seems pretty confident about the game against the Ravens.

Mahomes said to the sideline reporter, “We did hear it all week man about playing a road game and we were here to prove a point man and show that we can play anywhere, and we know we have a heck of a challenge this next week, but our guys are going to get ready to go and go out there and see what we can do”

By the looks of it, Patrick Mahomes and Co. played a very safe and simple game, without trying to jeopardize anything. No flashy plays, no zipping up and down the field, just simple football. Mahomes threw two touchdowns in the game and came out with a 131.6 passer rating and no picks.

One take at a time

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
