No one could have ever imagined that an NFL game ticket would be close to the price of buying a movie ticket or a bottle of water. This holds for the ticket prices of the New England Patriots this season. The Patriots are approaching their Week 14 game, but their fans aren’t eager to progress with the upsets and attend the game.

It has been an ugly season for Bill Belichick’s team so far. With just two wins and an embarrassing 10 losses, the Patriots have less than a 1% chance of making it to the playoffs. The team that has earned the No. 1 seed five times in the league couldn’t secure a playoff spot this season. Perhaps that’s why the fans are inclined to stay home this Thursday, resulting in a significant blow to ticket sales.

Prices are even less than movie tickets?

The Pats and Los Angeles Chargers game ticket prices dropped significantly before kickoff. Fans were not very excited about the Sunday showdown, and tickets were available for as low as $5. This time again, during the Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game on Thursday, chances are that the ticket prices could fall even further.

Currently, the Patriots tickets are priced at $35, the lowest in a decade. The highest ticket price is around $370. The average ticket price for an NFL game is $110; therefore, the new prices of Pats’ tickets are 70% less than the usual NFL ticket. Furthermore, even the ticket price for a movie in the US is $20.

The seating capacity of the venue, i.e., Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, is around 68,400, much of which is likely to be vacant due to the Patriots’ underwhelming performance this season.

Patriots vs. Steelers: Head-to-head

The Steelers and Patriots have met each other 34 times (including five postseason games). The Pats have the upper hand with less margin over the Steelers. The Foxborough team has won 18 games, and the Steelers, on the other hand, have won 16.

Per a Fox Sports report, the Steelers are fans’ choice this time. They are expected to win by a small margin over the struggling Bill Belichick’s team. In the past few weeks, New England has lost five consecutive games. In their last showdown, the Pats scored zero points in a 6-0 loss, and the Steelers lost 24-10.

One take at a time

I resonate with movies, exploring places, and not missing a single NFL game. If the NFL is my love, then I have to say, ?my love? found me! I understand what it takes to be an athlete and perform at such a high level since I too have tasted small-time success in sports. As an athlete, I have bagged the coveted district-level championship in track events.
