After a rough 1-3 start to the season during which QB Joe Burrow was suffering from a calf injury, the Bengals seemingly turned their season around after knocking the 49ers on Sunday. Cincinnati is now on a three-game winning streak and looks unstoppable. This was exactly the performance that the Bengals needed following the bye week.
Quarterback Burrow played a major role on the field and helped Cincinnati take over the game, following in the fourth quarter after Logan Wilson intercepted a pass to the 49ers QB Brock Purdy. The Bengals struck on the next play when Burrow lofted a 17-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase.
On the other hand, the 49ers QB Purdy played the game despite being in concussion protocol during the week and threw 365 yards. He played well in the game and tried his level best to defend the ball. However, he was simply not as good as Burrow this time. Burrow and the team were unstoppable on Sunday night, making it hard for their counterpart to win.
