Arthur and Deke, two sports commentators, discussed this topic in detail. Deke responded by saying, “We got to see Russ with a number one receiver out in Seattle and have that connection, have that dynamic. Whereas with Fields, I don’t think he really had that in his time in Chicago. That’s why I would lean Russ because he’s been there, done that, and had a serious connection with a franchise receiver.” Deke’s comments reflect his belief that Wilson’s experience and success with top receivers.

However, former Steelers linebacker Arthur had a different opinion. He pointed out that Wilson doesn’t use his legs as much as he used to, which might limit his versatility. Arthur said, “He still knows how to weaponize it, but it’s not as scary as when you watch Justin Fields, who we said just said the record right. I like Justin Fields. I lean a little bit more him.” Arthur believes Fields’ dynamic playstyle could bring a fresh and exciting element to the Steelers’ offense, potentially creating more opportunities for Pickens.

Pickens confident in new offensive scheme and QB

“I feel like it can benefit a lot. With this type of mindset or scheme, my job is to just get open.” Pickens said on Tuesday, according to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. When asked how much of his ability he’s shown so far in his career, George replied, “I’d probably say 80 percent.” This means that he believes he has not yet reached his full potential and can still improve a lot.

He also mentioned that his performance depends a lot on the quarterback. “I can only go off of how the quarterback plays. I can thrive more. The yardage showed it. I should have made the Pro Bowl.” If Russell Wilson or Justin Fields can deliver the ball effectively to Pickens, there’s a good chance he could become one of the NFL’s All-Stars in 2024.

In his career so far, George has played 34 games. During these games, he has made 115 receptions for 1,941 yards and nine touchdowns. These show that Pickens is a versatile and talented player who can make big plays.
