Recently, through an Instagram story, the 2 time Super Bowl champion took a moment to cherish their joint venture, gratifying Ciara. Taking to his official Instagram account, Russell Wilson expressed his major gratitude for this venture.

Resharing the Grammy-winning singer’s IG story, the Steelers QB, demonstrated his feelings explicitly with the caption, “Such a blessing. Proud of us @Ciara.” The “Get Up” singer, originally re-shared the  Random House Children’s Books, an American book publisher’s IG post, tagging her NFL husband with the caption ‘@dangerusswilson and #Why not You”. She also mentioned their joint venture in her IG story.

The original post caption read, “Get ready to congratulate your grad! 🎓📚🎉Celebrate your little one’s academic achievements with an inspiring book—no matter their stage or age 💚.” The recently shared short video clip featured a girl with contextual texts flicking on the screen. The second picture in the video featured the celebrity couple Ciara and Russell Wilson’s joint book venture, a picture book, ’ “Why Not You”, displaying the text, “(Ages 4-8), inspire little ones to pursue their biggest dream”.  In addition to that, the post also featured other books, including, “ Look How Much I’ve Grown in Kindergarten” and the text showing on the screen “(ages 4-8), recognize all your growth over the past year.”

The next book focused attention on Junie B. Jones’s children’s book with the text, “(Ages 6-9), celebrate the transition from kindergarten to first grade.” NFL’s popular duo, Ciara and Russell Wilson, launched their collective picture book, ‘Why Not You?’ on March 1, 2022, through Random House Books publishing house.

They took this book venture to encourage young readers to pursue their greatest aspirations, be fearless, and recognize their value! Through their book Ciara and Russell Wilson ask questions like, “Why not you?, Why can’t you change the world?,  Why can’t you tell your story? Why can’t you be the star?” to the children in order to make them confident in their individuality.

An engaging children’s book to become leaders of tomorrow!

Featuring illustrations by Jessica Gibson, the kids’ book is a valuable addition to the Wilson’s Why Not You Foundation, established in 2014. The underlying motive of this foundation is to enable the youth to take the next step towards becoming tomorrow’s leaders.

As parents to three amazing children, we know how important it is to share the gift of reading with kids at an early age. Through this book, we hope to not only encourage kids worldwide to read but also inspire them to pursue their dreams with a ‘Why Not You’ attitude,” the Wilson couple affirmed in a joint statement back in 2022.
