The Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card match! Even their chief security officer, Dom DiSandro, couldn’t make the difference in the matchup. When DiSandro was with the Eagles last season, the Eagles conquered the NFC championship with a stunning ten wins out of 11 games. But this season is entirely different.

DiSandro was sidelined following an incident with 49ers linebacker Greenlaw, but he was there today. However, Nick’s army failed to clinch the division round against the dominant Buccaneers. Interestingly, following today’s loss, Nick Sirianni’s video from when the Eagles defeated the Chiefs has caused a stir on the internet.

The video was from when the Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in a Week 11 showdown with a 21-17 score. The situation today is entirely different from that moment. This time, the Birds’ struggle was real. Moreover, the squad faced obstacles even in completing the 50-yard move. Despite a jaw-dropping start by the Eagles in the initial round, the Buccaneers’ defense turned out tough on the Eagles, which led to a punt.

Mike Evans was the top performer in the game with his astounding touchdown. Mike Evans also showed his elite performance with a 21-yard move. Finally, Mayfield threw the ball downfield, and Godwin successfully tracked it and turned around as it arrived, hitting him on the number, resulting in a Buccaneers victory.

It seemed this time Dom DiSandro’s presence couldn’t make a difference to the Eagles’ victory like it did before.

Dom DiSandro was believed to be the lucky charm for the Eagles. In the last year of the NFC championship, the Eagles had an impressive record with ten wins out of 11 games. However, in his absence this season, the Eagles have lost 5 of 6 since he was banned after he got entangled in a heated argument with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Even Greenlaw was ejected and subjected to hefty fines because of his unpleasant behavior with DeVonta Smith.

One take at a time

Every NFL fanatic has their "Eureka" story of how they got hooked on the game of tackles and touchdowns. Mine starts from the comfort of my home; sitting beside my dad, on a cozy couch, with a hot cup of tea. Well, that is all that was serene about that scene! The next thing I know, I am screaming and shouting and cheering for the players on the field.
