When Shilo Sanders said he’s got “a lot of talent to do things other than football,” he wasn’t joking. After dropping his debut album “Hate 2 Love” in early 2025 and teasing more music coming in November, Shilo’s been making serious moves off the field. With over 238k subscribers following his vlogs and lifestyle content, Shilo has built his own brand. And now, he’s ready to shift the lanes again.

Shilo posted a video on his YouTube channel on November 11, stepping onto the NASCAR speedway. “I went to a NASCAR race for the 1st time EVER thanks to Fanatics Sportsbook!” Shilo wrote in the description box. Fanatics Sportsbook, an online betting app, was the sponsor for the video. “I want to do NASCAR now. I like the sound of them engines,” Shilo said in the video, dropping a joyful but subtle hint, and fans were all in for the ride.

The video blew up fast, pocketing over 92,00 likes and over 200 comments within just a few hours of uploading. The vlog shows him chatting with team members, learning about the sport’s intensity and the financial grind. He was even seen suiting up in a firesuit. Shilo also shared some playful moments with the on-ground staff. But this isn’t the first time Shilo has shown how big a car enthusiast he is.

A few years back, Shilo gave fans a peek into his ride upgrades in a YouTube video titled, “Shilo Sanders Got His Ram Truck & GLE 63 Wrapped.” He showed the whole process of customizing his vehicles, featuring his matte black Ram truck with his sleek Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe. But despite all these cheerful hangouts, Shilo still hopes to find a space for himself in the NFL.

Still hope for Shilo Sanders to find an NFL squad

The Ravens tried to shore up their secondary by signing Alohi Gilman and C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and passed on Shilo after the workouts. The 49ers also brought him in for a look, but didn’t pull the trigger. Washington had Darnell Savage on for a tryout, and the Jaguars went with other options for their secondary. The Chargers quickly shifted focus after Khalil Mack’s injury, going for proven talent over developmental players like Shilo. Still, there’s one team left that gives him hope…the Cleveland Browns.

Though the road to the playoffs seems blurry for the Browns but their next season preparations could involve Shilo for them. The Browns shook up their roster, releasing safety Damontae Kazee and creating a spot in the secondary. Though they’ve added tight end Brenden Bates and cornerback Tre Avery to boost depth, the roster still feels incomplete.

Apart from Grant Delpit, the Browns have struggled against the run…an area where athletic safeties matter. That makes Shilo an intriguing option. Also on the offense, after trading Joe Flacco to the Bengals, Cleveland is betting on young Dillon Gabriel at the centre. This push for young talent on both sides of the ball shows the team plans to develop emerging players and build a potential Super Bowl contender for the future.
