A look at Jake Elliott’s college and professional career
Jake Elliott played college football at the University of Memphis from 2013–2016. He became the Tigers’ full-time kicker as a freshman and quickly set school records. Elliott made 81 of 104 career field goals and all 202 of his extra points, finishing with 445 points (the most in Memphis history). He kicked a 56-yard field goal in 2013 and earned All-Conference honors and AAC special teams awards during his time at Memphis.
Elliott was drafted in the 5th round (153rd overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals and soon joined the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed with the Eagles in September 2017 and became their long-time kicker. Elliott hit a dramatic 61-yard, game-winning field goal vs. the Giants in 2017, helped the Eagles win Super Bowl LII, was named to the Pro Bowl after the 2021 season, and earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2023.
