At the age of 77, Terry Bradshaw’s recent one-game absence from the FOX NFL Sunday desk had fans worried, but the Hall of Famer quickly put those concerns to rest with a Thanksgiving-sized announcement.

Bradshaw revealed that the FOX NFL crew, including himself, will return for the live NFL Thanksgiving pregame show in Detroit on November 27. He shared the update on his Instagram Story, along with a link for his fans and followers to get the tickets. The holiday will show three big matchups.

The Dallas Cowboys return for a game against the Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium, while the Detroit Lions will play against the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field at 1 p.m. ET. Another major game will see divisional rivals, the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals, battle it out in what promises to be a tense clash.

Apart from the action, Thanksgiving Day will bring plenty of entertainment. Some of the biggest stars, Post Malone, Lil Jon, and Jack White, will perform at the halftime events.
Post Malone, a die-hard Cowboys fan, will headline the Thanksgiving halftime show when Dallas takes on Kansas City. Jack White returns to Detroit to perform during the Lions‑Packers game, with Eminem and his manager, Paul Rosenberg, serving as executive producers. Lil Jon brings the heat at Baltimore’s Ravens‑Bengals clash, and Award-winning Renée Elise Goldsberry will deliver the national anthem before the game.

Terry and the crew will also be on hand to share their insights before the day starts. After the Thanksgiving show, Bradshaw also has another major event lined up. He will appear for The Terry Bradshaw Show at the Clay Cooper Theatre in Branson, Missouri, on December 19, 2025.
Despite juggling a hectic schedule, the NFL legend has remained actively involved in his duties at FOX, even while struggling with some health issues. This is why his absence from Fox NFL Sunday in Week 11 raised concerns among fans.

Terry Bradshaw reveals the reason behind his absence on Fox NFL Sunday
Throughout his broadcasting career, NFL legend Terry Bradshaw has often been open about why he steps away from the booth. After a recent absence, he reassured fans on social media that his health is not serious, easing concerns that flared due to his past battles with cancer.
“Just incase you notice, won’t be on Fox today. Just have a cold. All good,” Bradshaw wrote in his Instagram Story.

Later, Curt Menefee, Howie Long, and Michael Strahan shared that Bradshaw had left early due to his health issues.
“We sent him home,” Strahan said. “Let that be known.”
Over the years, the NFL legend has always been candid about his health challenges. Bradshaw struggled with bladder cancer in November 2021 and received treatment at Yale University Medical Center. In March 2022, he developed a rare Merkel cell skin cancer in his neck and underwent treatment at M.D. Anderson in Houston.

Terry has braved every storm and continues to do so. While many have suggested that the legend should consider retirement, he has assured fans that he will continue to show up for them and for the sport.
