Even though Patrick Mahomes decided during his collegiate days, there was a time when he had second thoughts about the sport. Randi Mahomes discusses how football was not the Grim Reaper’s aim in an interview with FOX4’s Kathy Quinn. The QB had reservations about the game, but she persuaded him not to abandon it.
Randi mentioned, “Before his junior year in high school he came to me that summer wanting to quit football, but I just said, ‘you’re going to regret it if you quit.’” The Chiefs Kingdom should indeed appreciate Randi’s efforts to keep junior Patrick in the game.
