Skip Bayless asked Deion Sanders a very intriguing question on his recent YouTube episode on Undisputed. He asked what it would mean for Coach Prime for his QB son Shedeur Sanders to win the Heisman Trophy next year. The Buffs HC gave an interesting reply saying, “I don’t give it to everybody no Heisman. I care about winning. Forget the Heisman. I want win. Period.” Sanders went on to say that his team spirit attitude is a new level of value as he added, “Shedeur is with his linemen every day. I call him his security team. They don’t even go anywhere without him.”

It’s clear from Deion Sanders’ response that the main focus on the Buffs right now is about winning. After all, Coach Prime’s first run in Colorado last season didn’t bear fruit field record-wise as they fell 4-8. And he’s right, the main thing he needs to do is to brush up on his team as a collective whole if he wants to see better results. According to what he says of his QB son, Shedeur Sanders is “building that unity” and “relationship” with his team.

Shedeur Sanders’ leadership qualities unite the Buffs

Deion Sanders loves to praise his sons, but not without a reason. Shedeur Sanders is already holding the reins of leadership as he’s taking the front step not only in uniting the Buffs as Coach Prime mentioned above but also in teaching the new players how to throw balls as is seen from a YouTube episode on Well Off Media

Despite being the third favorite to be picked in the NFL 2024 Draft, he committed to Colorado to hype the team and secure a better record for his father in his second season. Coach Prime was also able to retain high-impact players like two-way star Travis Hunter and RB Dylan Edwards. Along with his QB son, they were some of the best performers last season. Given this year’s impressive recruits, the 2024 season could give Deion Sanders the results he’s looking for.
