Harbaugh’s strategies have been working like magic for his team over the past 8 years, but there are now speculations he might be looking to part ways with his NCAA team. Eisen brought about the topic that Harbaugh might be looking for a career change, given the rule changes coming in the new year. To this Feldman replied, “This is a guess, this is a slightly informed guess. I’d think Jim Harbaugh is entertaining offers from the NFL so he has not signed a contract with Michigan.”

Feldman then brought about how the HC hasn’t renewed his contract. He also gave an estimated date by which Harbaugh could look for a change in the prospects. “He has not signed a contract with Michigan. If he hasn’t signed a contract extension with Michigan by January 15th. I don’t think so I really don’t know what if he does win at all. I think then he’s definitely going to the NFL.” Both Eisen and his guest Feldman held the shared opinion that Harbaugh might be seeking NFL offers.

While the Michigan HC hasn’t made any official statement about moving to the NFL. But certain signs point out Harbaugh’s next career plans. He had his fair share of controversies and back-and-forths with the NCAA and Big 10 this year which might further propel his decision to move to the NFL.
Certain teams will be the ideal fit for Harabugh’s coaching style. For instance, the Buffalo Bills will be looking to replace their current HC Sean McDermott, and rope in another coach for better results. There have been rumors that the Patriots are thinking of sacking Coach Bill Belichick as well.
