As thе Buffaloеs gеar up for Black and Gold Day just thrее wееks away, prеparations arе in full swing. Both playеrs and coachеs are honing their physicality in the CU workout facility. Howеvеr, as Dеion Sandеrs Jr. was filming thе workout sеssion fеaturing his fathеr and thе CU coaching staff, Bucky found himsеlf caught off-guard whеn Coach Primе turnеd thе tablеs on him.

Addressing Bucky’s unexpected presence in the workout room, Coach Prime quipped, “What you doing here?” to which Bucky responded, “It ain’t even about me. I am just holding the camera right now.” Seizing the opportunity for some good-natured ribbing on his son, Coach Prime retorted, “It’s always about the camera.”

The lighthearted banter continued as Coach Prime playfully mocked Bucky’s reluctance to participate in the workout and contrasted it with the coaches’ rigorous bench press routine of 3 sets of 15 reps. While Bucky’s role as the man behind the camera is crucial for Well Off Media, Coach Prime couldn’t resist teasing his son for his apparent aversion to lifting weights.

However, while Bucky is widely known as the man behind the scenes at CU, he is resolute in carving out his own path and establishing his identity separate from his father’s legacy.

Coach Prime’s eventual retirement is looming, and Sanders Jr. has boldly articulated his future ambitions in response to inquiries about his plans once his father steps away from coaching. When posed with the question, “What will you do once your dad retires/ moves on from coaching?” Bucky confidently replied, “I’ll own a team by then.”
