Keon Coleman is one of the most intriguing prospects remaining after the first round of the draft.  The Florida State wide receiver is generating serious buzz, with analysts predicting he could go as high as the 51st pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Mock drafts currently favor teams like the Steelers, Chargers, and Patriots as potential landing spots for him. However, there’s still a bit of suspense to his future.

Even though Coleman might not be picked in the first round, his impressive stats and awards at FSU make him a player to watch for. To add on, he also has the third-team All-Big Ten honors to showcase his impact on the offense.  While his on-field life is always talked about, now his off-field life is slowly taking the spotlight amidst the draft, with his parents at the forefront of it.

Keon Coleman’s NFL Draft story just got even more exciting. Last month, he revealed himself to be the cousin of Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb. This family connection has fans buzzing about the potential for a spirited wide-receiver duo on the field. In a recent interview, Keon also resonated with this stating, “That would be a dream come true” about the possibility of playing alongside his cousin.

Even the Cowboys certainly showed some interest, meeting with Keon at the Combine along with other talented wide receivers.  For a while, it seemed like a perfect fit – Keon joining forces with Lamb would have been a thrilling storyline. Unfortunately, the team have other pressing needs in the deep and need experienced players to fill the gap. Luckily, this year’s draft is loaded with some veteran wide receivers to meet those requirements. Thus it looks like they can’t afford to draft Coleman just for the family ties.
