Texas A&M five-star defensive lineman in Alabama

LT Overton, the former five-star defensive lineman from Texas A&M, is causing a stir in the transfer portal. Originally ranked as the No. 17 overall prospect in the 2022 class, Overton chose the Aggies over Oklahoma, Georgia, Oregon, and other offers. During his tenure with Texas A&M, he recorded 31 tackles (six solo) and one career sack. His older brother, Micaiah, also intends to enter the transfer portal after playing in just one game over two years at Texas A&M.

Recently, LT Overton and his family visited South Carolina’s football program and were pleased with the hospitality. Currently, on a visit to Tuscaloosa, he’s exploring the Alabama Crimson Tide. It appears he’s weighing his options, with both South Carolina and Alabama in consideration. As he enjoys time at the lake with Nick Saban, anticipation builds regarding where this talented defensive lineman will land. Whether he chooses the Gamecocks or joins the Crimson Tide, LT Overton’s decision will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the college football landscape.

Saban highlights Alabama’s gameplay 

Both the Michigan Wolverines and Alabama Crimson Tide had outstanding seasons this year. Michigan holds an undefeated 13-0 record, and Alabama closely follows with an impressive 12-1 tally. The highly anticipated match is just over 17 days away, and coach Nick Saban is actively preparing his team for the formidable challenge ahead. In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Saban discussed the team’s training and preparation for the upcoming matchup against Michigan in Pasadena.

Saban highlighted the first three days of fundamental camp practices to reacclimate players.
