As previously reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the University is extending a tempting 10-year, $125 million contract to Harbaugh. Earlier reports by Sports Illustrated’s Richard Johnson indicated Michigan’s prior offer of a five-year extension valued at $55 million, underscoring the escalating stakes in the ongoing negotiations, as the University seeks to solidify Harbaugh’s enduring commitment to his alma mater. The question that arises now is whether Harbaugh is willing to continue coaching at Michigan or not. However, this win-win scenario not only crowns Michigan as champions but also elevates Harbaugh’s status as a top-earning and successful coach in the league.
