Meet Bradenton-based Jayden Jackson, who is a true leading example of an idealist! His dreams began to turn into reality when he joined IMG Academy High School. The 4-star defensive lineman is now committed to the University of Oklahoma.

Jayden is known for his size, skill, and the power he brings with him on the field. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 295 pounds, he is blessed with strong arms, which help him annihilate the offensive lines. However, with his heavy body, he moves from side to side better than most and keeps his legs moving to make tackles. Staying on the ground, he uses his explosive body to push forward effectively. Jackson is popular not only with fans but also with teammates and coaches for his leadership qualities.

A single visit to Norman was enough for Jayden and his family to decide that Oklahoma was the perfect place for him. Last year, in conversation with two of his future coaches, the 4-star defensive lineman already knew he was playing for the Sooners very soon.

Jayden’s love for the game and family

Jackson is a family-oriented individual and a man of his word with strong ethics and morals. “Faith, family, and football, and that’s top three, actually, on my list of morals that I want to have when going to a school and hearing that from a head coach, yeah, I was pretty much sold when I was sitting right next to my mom,” he added to the conversation with AllSooners.

Teine, the mother of Oklahoma DL, has played a significant role in Jayden’s football career. He comes from a very supportive family, though there is not much information about them available on the internet.

During his recruiting process, Jayden shared a tweet that reflected his personality and deep love for his family. He wrote, “First and foremost I want to thank God for his continuous blessings, I also would like to thank my Mom for everything that she has done for me. With that being said, I will be taking the next step in my recruiting process. TOP 5.”
