2-time Super Bowl-winning Eli Manning’s post-retirement calendar is as bustling as it was when he played for the New York Giants. Now, it seems like he wants to be back at the Giants again, though not in the way most ex-players do. Manning has admitted that he wants to be a team owner in the NFL and his words clearly elucidate which club he’s gunning for.

The former Giants quarterback spoke to ‘Front Office Sports’ about his dreams of acquiring an NFL team ownership. “It’s of interest. It’s just got to be the right fit. I don’t think the Giants are going to be for sale anytime soon.” On whether he’s interested in buying in on another club, he doesn’t feel very enthusiastic about “the idea of joining another team that you have no history with.”

And of course, no one can forget the legendary Chad Powers. In 2022, Manning disguised himself as a college freshman and tried out the Pennsylvania State University’s walk-in tryouts. His iconic catchphrases “Fast Chad” and “Think Fast, Run Fast” are still popular among fans.

And luckily, Manning has not abandoned the idea of Chad Powers altogether. “We’ll see if there’s a good idea for the legend of Chad to live on,” he said. Maybe we will see a much younger Chad Powers make a comeback. Which university will he try next? Or will he pull an impressive one, and disguise his way into the NFL Draft? The possibilities are endless.
