It was a day to remember for three high school football teams who got to visit Lambeau Field, thanks to the generosity of the Green Bay Packers. The teams, who were selected as part of the Packers’ special program, got to explore the iconic stadium, enjoy a delicious lunch and meet the Packers’ star running back. He had a special surprise for them: new helmets for each team.

The program, which was initiated by Aaron Rodgers’ ex-team, aims to help high school football programs in Wisconsin that struggle to afford helmets, which are vital but expensive. By providing helmets, the program allows the schools to allocate their funds for other equipment or resources. The Packers’ gesture of kindness can inspire many young players who dream of playing in the NFL but lack the basic gear.

The Packers gave a wonderful surprise to three high school football teams on Monday, April 17, 2023. The teams were welcomed to Lambeau Field, where they got to see the legendary stadium and meet Packers running back AJ Dillon. He had a special gift for them: brand-new Xenith helmets that they could use for their games.

These helmets were donated as part of the Packers Helmet Give Back Program to Bay View High School (located in Milwaukee), Roncalli High School (located in Manitowoc), and Marshall High School (located in Marshall). It was a statewide initiative that offered coaches and athletic directors the opportunity to apply for new helmets last fall.
