Aaron Rodgers Reflects on His Unhealed Injury With Three More Games to Win Before Playoffs

Aaron Rodgers has always been a tough bird during the season. He has played through injuries before, and it seems like he has been doing it right now as well. Quite recently, the quarterback showed up how well he can play, despite adversity in his game against the Rams. While on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, the quarterback spoke about his thumb injury and how it has been healing up.
He also spoke about the slim but very real possibility of making a hopeful playoff run after beating last year’s Super Bowl champions. The thumb injury seems to be only a slight annoyance in his way as he ended up playing anyways and performing well on the field.

Is Aaron Rodgers the Man of Steel?
A-Rod had been playing with a moderately serious thumb injury in his recent games. However, this did not seem to inhibit his abilities on the field and he was able to pull off his usual level of excellence. While on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers spoke to the McAfee brothers about his thumb injury.

He mentioned that the injury that was troubling him a lot more before is not as bad after their week off. Rodgers also spoke about the problem he was having with his ribs. He said, “thumb’s a lot better, doesn’t give me the same issues it was before the week off. I was you know I kind of talked about it for a while and hoped that I maybe would get over the thumb before the bye week but the bye week definitely got the thumb where I need to be and the ribs felt better it took some shots but feeling good.” The quarterback mentioned that the bye week was definitely needed in terms of rest to get back to where he needed to be for performance’s sake. He also had words of appreciation for the way his teammates performed against the Rams.

High praise for the Packers from Rodgers
The Packers quarterback was also very appreciative of the way his teammates performed. During the show, he talked about the key role his teammates played in their game against the Rams. The quarterback was all praises for Keisean Nixon for the unique play he pulled during the game. Furthermore, he mentioned the ups and downs the team has gone through and also mentioned their attempt at pushing for a good postseason.
The quarterback seems hopeful for a good postseason and the final three games that the Packers have left. Even with these injuries, he has been able to consistently deliver. It only remains to be seen how he will be performing in the final three games of the season.
