For the uninitiated, State Farm is a group of insurance companies based in the United States. Much like any other company or brand, they have tied up with well-known individuals to promote themselves. To that end, State Farm sponsors NFL quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Obviously, Rodgers has to take part in some advertising campaigns for the company. Recently, State Farm revealed two short advertisements starring Rodgers, with fellow NFL star Patrick Mahomes featuring in one as well.

In 2018, State Farm pitted Rodgers’ sports agent, Gabe Gabriel against his State Farm agent. Things spiraled off in a hilarious manner as jealousy reigned supreme.

However, the 2019 advertising campaign saw Rodgers and Gabriel return to TV screens once again. On this occasion, Gabe signed a new client – rising star Patrick Mahomes, the 2018 NFL MVP. Apparently, his “diabolical plan” was to make Rodgers jealous and “turn the tables”.

Unfortunately, Mahomes dashed his scheme when he revealed that he and Aaron Rodgers were good friends. It was a hugely awkward situation with the two agents and two players.

The next ad was called ‘Gabe’s Worst Nightmare’, where the agent finds himself in a bad dream. He is seemingly seated with 19,000 State Farm agents in a stadium where Rodgers and Mahomes both represent State Farm.

Around 2018, Rodgers had a reported net worth of $7.5 million and his State Farm contract was worth $2-3 million. Aside from State Farm, he endorsed Associated Banc-Corp, Ford Motors, Prevea Healthcare, Bergstrom Automotive, Sharpie, and IZOD. Aaron Rodgers has even appeared in small ads for Pizza Hut and local companies in the Green Bay area.

According to Forbes, in 2015 Rodgers was “one of the top-paid football guys” in the Nike stable. In fact, his commercials for State Farm are considered a national hit. But he moved on from Nike in 2015 and switched to Adidas.
