As Aaron Rodgers inches closer to the official announcement after vividly stating his intentions yesterday on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, there is a major shift happening. It is obvious that whenever a deal involves a heavy-duty quarterback like Rodgers, there are a lot of shifts in the balance of the league. However, it’s not just about the quarterback balance in the league, but about the betting universe.

For nearly two decades Aaron Rodgers has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the league, winning two back-to-back MVPs among his combined four. However, a lot of his consistency came at Lambeau Field. And now that he is leaving for New York Jets, the odds are shifting heavily.

However, Aaron, who was a sure-shot guarantee in his home games at Lambeau, will shift the betting odds. And the money-makers aren’t happy. At home, A-Rod enjoyed an astounding 91-23-1 record, compared to an average 59-56 record away. And when translated against the spread, the Super Bowl XLV MVP becomes 73-42-4 at home. Simply put, he was the betting favorite at Lambeau and everyone printed cash.

The playoffs weren’t any different with the Packers 5-2 with Rodgers at Lambeau Field and 5-6 away from it.
