Even though Mason Rudolph and Mitch Trubisky were nominated to fill his shoes, it seems Trubisky has been failing to meet the expectations, and fans have already started pitching Kenny Pickett to replace the veteran. Meanwhile, his girlfriend’s gesture amid the ongoing drama is winning the internet’s attention.

The 24-year-old quarterback has been a top prospect, ever since the Steelers picked him in the first round of the 2022 Draft. It was also the period when Big Ben announced his departure.

After a series of preseason performances, coach Mike Tomlin finally went with Mitch Trubisky. However, his recent performances left a lot to be desired. The Steelers lost to Cleveland 29-17 on Thursday night, and it seems the veteran cannot live up to the expectations.

Well, these results don’t seem to bother head coach Mike Tomlin. He reiterated he would continue playing Trubisky as the starting quarterback. Apart from the passer’s performance, there are several other areas that have scope for improvement.

“I’m interested in reviewing this tape and looking at the totality of it and figuring out how we collectively get better.
