After Broncos team owner and CEO Greg Penner fired head coach Nathaniel Hackett last week after an abysmal 4-11 season, it’s time for Russell Wilson to pull up his socks. The $245 million quarterback wished he could do more for Hackett and plans to turn things around with thorough examination.
“My expectations are higher than anyone else’s. You know, I believe in myself at the highest level. And the mission is still the Super Bowl. I mean, it’s not going to happen this year, but the mission remains the same. Bring Super Bowls to Denver,” Russell Wilson said about making changes in the remaining games.

The former Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl-winning QB will try to regain some of the lost glory as the Broncos gear up for the next season. Now that playoff hopes are dead. However, Wilson doesn’t want to disappoint Rosburg in the remaining two games this season with the Chiefs and the Chargers.

With a Denver offense that ranks last in the league, it will certainly be an uphill task tonight for Russell and Rosburg against Patrick Mahomes.
