Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill getting beat in a sprinting competition is never an occurrence for NFL fans. But the Pro Bowl skills showdown did see the ‘Cheetah’ finishing last in the ‘Fastest Man’ race. It was a shocking result, and even the winner Micah Parsons did acknowledge Hill following the end.

The competition was a 40-yard dash among 4 of the fastest NFL players to determine who the fastest athlete is. The four competitors included Hill, Cowboys LB Micah Parsons, Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs, and Browns RB Nick Chubb. The tale of the tape does indeed favor the Cheetah to come out on top. On a chilly night, when his crown was on the line, Hill looked uncomfortable at the start and stumbled on the race start.

Hill has been moving from one thing to another in recent weeks and has been playing unable to stop and catch a breath. Both Hill and the Chiefs were on the losing side during their AFC Championship game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The second-half drop-off offensively cost them dearly, and the Bengals mounted a famous comeback.

Hill also was named into the 2022 Pro Bowl and has not been able to catch his breath. He then moved to participate in the Best Catch competition during the Skills Showdown. The amount of strain it might have had on him physically did seem to bother him before his race. It can potentially be one of the deterrents which deprived us of what could have been a close competition.
