“Don’t Ever Get it Twisted” – DeMarcus Lawrence Defends Dallas Cowboys After Below-Par Season

The 2020 NFL campaign has not gone as expected for the new Dallas Cowboys Head Coach, Mike McCarthy. The Jerry Jones-owned franchise is currently languishing in the last place in the NFC East Division table behind Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and even The Washington Football Team.
The Cowboys have been hit with major injuries over the course of the last 10 weeks. Franchise QB Dak Prescott is out for the season with a double compound fracture while rookie CB Trevon Diggs is also out injured for an extended period.
Can the Cowboys pull off a much-needed win against NFC North’s Minnesota Vikings in Week 11?

Despite their struggles under their new coach in 2020, Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence was quick to defend himself and his teammates in a recent interview.
He said, “I feel like we’re a different team. We’re playing totally different, energy is totally different, and this will not be a repeat of the Browns game.

“First things first, don’t ever get this twisted, we’re a good team. And it’s all about winning games at the end of the day. But we’re a good team.
“Seeing how other people are playing and stuff, I don’t think we’re far behind at all. I feel like we deserve to still be in this thing, and we can make a pretty good run,” Lawrence told The Athletic earlier this week.
