Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are taking the offseason by storm. Both are turning every page possible to quench their Super Bowl thirst and give TB12 a fairytale ending. To everyone’s surprise, the franchise casts Julio Jones for a year in the Bucs. The franchise’s new WR opens up regarding Brady calling him in to make a successful Lombardi run.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, throughout the offseason, lost some athletes via free agency and retirement. But they kept their hopes high and brought competent faces to the roster. One such addition was Julio Jones, who chose Tampa over other NFL franchises.

Julio Jones joins the Buccaneers‘ training camp media briefing and speaks on an array of topics. It was unimaginable for the WR to join forces with a divisional rival. The future hall of fame opens up regarding Tom Brady calling him to join forces in Tampa.

WR Julio mentions via ESPN, “I talked to him, I talked to Tom several times. It wasn’t really about coming to Tampa. We were just communicating, feeling each other out, I guess… It was probably a tactic. But I’m here now.”

Jones’ tactic might refer to the Patriots and Brady’s fondness for confidentiality. Jones will catch passes from quarterback Tom Brady, who swiped a Super Bowl ring from the former Falcons wide receiver. Atlanta had New England in trouble, but Brady and the Patriots pulled up the most spectacular comebacks in playoff history, leading to a 34-28 overtime victory in 2017. Despite the past rivalry, Jones has TB12 in high regard.

Julio Jones gives the Bucs WR corps a competent strength after Antonio Brown made his unceremonious departure. With 11 NFL campaigns and seven Pro Bowls, Julio became the most desirable WR in the free agent market. The WR also had some interest from the Packers, as QB Rodgers lost his favorite weapon, Davante Adams. Indy was in consideration as Jones’ old ally QB Matt Ryan from Atlanta Falcons is in it.

Obviously, Buccaneers had something better to offer. It is the biggest shot for Jones to earn his first Championship Ring with GOAT Brady. Furthermore, Tampa Tom’s dedication to giving his all, although he might not have much time on the field as he might retire next season, is praiseworthy. His desire to win more Super Bowls enticed a future Hall of Famer to join the team.
