After a disappointing loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 9, the Kyler Murray-led Arizona Cardinals fought back to winning ways with a last-gasp win against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Veteran NFL wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins grabbed headlines after he held onto a ‘Hail Mary’ pass thrown by Murray in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter. They beat the Bills by two points last weekend. In doing so, Kliff Kingsbury’s side went on top of the NFC West Division table.

The former Oklahoma Sooners man will now lead his team against Pete Carroll’s Seattle Seahawks. The last time these two teams met, Murray led his team to a 37-34 OT win over the Seahawks. Can the former Heisman Trophy winner make it two wins from two in 2020?

Kyler Murray marching towards NFL MVP award ahead of Russell Wilson

Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark was all praise for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray after his bright start to the 2020 season. Murray has thrown for 2,300+ yards with 17 passing TDs and 500+ rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Clark reckons Murray could beat ‘DangeRuss’ Wilson to the NFL MVP award.

“Kyler Murray has been so good through this first year and a half that I forgot even short…like when you watch him play, it doesn’t look like he’s in any way inhibited by his height. And I know that because we’ve seen Russell do so much.”

“We’ve seen Russell grow. And that’s been a part of our story. We love him. But if I’m looking at Kyler Murray right now, his trajectory is way higher than Russell Wilson. He probably wins an MVP before Russ does,” Clark said on the show.

“It’s so hard to imagine that anybody can be better than Russell Wilson. He’s been so great for his entire career, winning Super Bowls, going to Super bowls, really carrying his team in recent years. But Kyler is already that guy.”

“I feel like those Seahawks teams, they would have been really really good without Russell Wilson, but they become Super Bowl champions without or with Russell Wilson. You take Kyler off of this team, they are at the bottom of the division,” Foxworth concluded.

Both these teams will face off at the CenturyLink Field on Thursday night. Considering how things went down the last time these two teams met, we expect another thriller on our hands this week. Who will have the last laugh? Russell Wilson or Kyler Murray?
