Los Angeles Rams Week 10 fixture called for the debut start for Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller against the San Francisco 49ers. However, their disastrous 31-10 loss Monday night led the Rams head coach Sean McVay to state, “this was a humbling night for us.”

It was surely a loss for the coaching staff as even after signing star players; the team has failed to seal the deal in their previous two weeks. Even in their week 10 game, the Niners seemed to dominate the Rams starting the first quarter.

Sean McVay on the failure of Los Angeles Rams

The Rams‘ head coach in his post-game conference admitted his flaws and the inefficiency of his team during these past few weeks. McVay also admitted that he made a terrible decision to fake a play trying to sneak in seven points rather than settling for a field goal late in the second quarter.

“I choose to believe that these last couple weeks are not who we are. I refuse to believe that, event that, you know what, you’re only as good as your last game,” McVay said.

“I was excited. Felt like I was ready for the moment,” he added. “I’ve been through so much, and God has put me in this position for that exact moment. And it just wasn’t our night. There’s really no way around it, it just wasn’t our night.”
