“I Gave My All Every Day”: Russell Wilson Gets Teary-Eyed in Public When Asked This Question

Russell Wilson and his revamped offensive approach on Sunday night almost worked if not for the Chiefs pulling through at the end. The Denver Broncos almost pulled off a surprise upset with a new head coach and a fresh offensive play-caller. And Russell Wilson’s internal locker-room problem with his team seemed to be the root cause. However, when his teammates spoke up for him, Danger Russ got extremely emotional.
For some time, the speculations of internal cracks forming in the Broncos camp were floating. This became more of an issue after the sideline altercation video between the Denver o-line and backup QB Brett Rypien went viral, causing the rumors to take shape. However, Russell’s teammates have flat-out denied any leadership problems with Wilson.

“It [their support] meant the world to me. Because I give my all every day. I dont know anything less. So I’m grateful for these guys because they’ve worked their b—s off. And for them to have my back,” a teary-eyed Russell Wilson told reporters after the 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. “I know who I am and my dedication to the game. And how much it means to me. The game means much more. And it’s because of those guys in the locker room,” Russ added.
Which teammates spoke out publicly in favor of Russell Wilson?
Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had enough of the false rumors floating and made it clear that he will not entertain any further slander about his quarterback. “I’ve never had a teammate who’s motivated me more than Russ,” Jeudy tweeted. Another Denver wideout Kendall Hinton blamed it all on the media for generating clicks in Russ’ name and called him one of the best teammates or leaders he’s ever been around.
