Deion Sanders is the real deal with the NFL cornerbacks. The Pro Football Hall of Famer has become an enduring name in the league. But his past was not a regular one. Sanders overcame a lot of adversaries that had his family members in their trap. Coach Prime is open about it and also explains his dark past.

Deion Sanders has achieved colossal accomplishments during his NFL career. The Prime Time showcased prowess and became a two-time Super Bowl champion in his run. He is now giving the Prime knowledge of the sport to the younger generation while donning the whistle and a coach cap.

During a podcast appearance, Coach Prime opens up about his life’s dark moments. But that allowed him to become the humble Neon Deion. He uploads a clip of his interview on Instagram, saying when his fathers turned left, Deion made hard right. He reveals the unvarnished truth about being the Prime and how he is the epitome of restraint.

Deion Sanders opens up, “I had a biological father that was a drug addict, and my stepfather was an alcoholic. So that’s why I never touched drugs. I never smoked. I’ve never been high, and I’ve never tasted alcohol. Never done none of that in my life, because I saw those pictures. And I saw the conclusion of that there. I never wanted to go in that direction. So that’s how it all started. Just with a tremendous amount of discipline and restraint… New could be rolling the fat when I’m right there, and I’m good.”

Deion Sanders had two legendary athletic careers

Most folks know DB-WR Deion Sanders as one of the finest NFL football players. The native of Florida took part in eight Pro Bowls and won two Super Bowls throughout his stellar career. The typical fan occasionally overlooks the fact that Deion Sanders was also a decent baseball player. His MLB career carried on concurrently with his NFL career.

Sanders took part in 641 MLB games. He started with the New York Yankees. Later, he played for the San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, and Atlanta Braves. Players like Sanders come along only once in a lifetime, and it is unlikely that the athletic world will ever see another double-sport athlete.
