Tom Brady had a meltdown on the sideline of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. He has earned the right to shout at his teammates throughout his illustrious career. But can anyone on the team shout at Brady the same way?

Yes, they can, according to Brady himself. For him, it is all about respect.

Tom Brady was pressed about the incident on the sideline of the Steelers game where he was seen shouting at his fellow Buccaneers. Speaking on his podcast “Let’s go”, Brady opened up about the rights of his teammates to shout at him.

“Always. I think that is a part of being a great teammate. Being receptive to what the people you care about think. If these people have a great deal of respect for you by the way you show up to work and you are prepared then you have the opportunity to say whatever you want,” the Bucs QB said.

“It’s our team. No one owns the team. The players don’t, the coaches don’t. We are all in it together. And we have the right to voice our opinion to each other when we don’t think it is going the right way,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion added.

The Buccaneers lost to the Steelers and fell to a 3-3 record after six weeks of action in the NFL. For a team that is a Super Bowl contender, this record is nowhere near the capability they possess. Tom Brady wasn’t happy with how things were unfolding during the game, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Just before halftime, the Buccaneers were trailing and Brady decided to give his team a “pep-talk”. He heavily criticized the way the offense was playing and reminded them that they were capable of better.

You are so much better than the way you’re f–king playing! You get your f–king ass kicked,” Brady could be heard saying. His rant did have some effect, with the Buccaneers cutting the deficit to 9-10 at half-time. In the end, though, the second half just saw the scoreline double to 20-18 in the favor of the Steelers.

The Buccaneers still are at the top of the table in NFC South, but the next game will be crucial for them. Can they hold on to the perch or will the Falcons be sitting there? Only time will tell.
