REPORTS: Odell Beckham Jr Out of Action Ahead of Crucial Seahawks Fixture

Odell Beckham Jr is reportedly out of action ahead of the Sunday’s fixture against the Seattle Seahawks. The Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver has tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
The news came along with the recent spike of Covid cases among NFL players, which has struck the Los Angeles Rams and the Cleveland Browns hard with adversity. Both the franchises have entered the phase of enhanced protocol as a multitude of players have come out as positive for the virus.

Los Angeles Rams hit by adversity
Beckham’s news of testing positive came a day after the Rams placed cornerback Jalen Ramsey on the reserve list ahead of their 30-23 win over Arizona Cardinals. And with that coach Sean McVay announced on Tuesday that the team has closed down the facility through at least Wednesday.
Beckham was placed on the Rams’ reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, along with defensive back Terrell Burgess, tight end Bryce Hopkins, defensive back JuJu Hughes, offensive tackle Alaric Jackson, nose tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day, defensive end Jonah Williams, defensive back Jordan Fuller, and defensive back Tyler Hall.

Although according to Sean McVay, all the players who have tested positive for the virus are vaccinated. Running back Darrell Henderson, offensive lineman Rob Havenstein, and cornerback Donte’ Deayon are among the current Rams on the list.

Odell Beckham Jr to miss Week 15?
Odell Beckham Jr has been in tremendous form lately. This is the first time since 2015 that OBJ has scored a touchdown in three consecutive games. Beckham will miss the Seattle Seahawks game on Sunday if he is not capable of producing a negative result by then.

Sean McVay called it a “uniquely challenging” situation as the team gets hit by adversity in a crucial stage of the season. The Rams are inching closer on their regional rivals, Arizona Cardinals as the regular season concludes.
