Dolphins HC Refuses to Entertain Deshaun Watson Rumors, Remains ‘Confident’ With Tua

The former Texans’ QB1 Deshaun Watson has been making headlines for the past few months. One of those headlines has been for his transfer rumors. Though Texans initially refused to take calls for possible offers, have now eased their stance. As the athlete is subjected to 22 civil lawsuits and a federal investigation, the Texans want to keep him in the team but off the field.
Trade complications of Deshaun Watson
Yet Watson has other plans. He wants to let go of the current franchise and is open to accept offers. The centerpiece of all the transfer rumors has been the Miami Dolphins. Reports suggest that the Dolphins are the most interested to offer the Texans a trade. In exchange, the Texans demand three first-round picks and two second-round picks.

Although the Dolphins feel hesitant about the offer, as the trade is reportedly unfair to accept. Though the Texans are expected to ease off their demand as if Watson stays but does not play, they would have to pay him $10.54 million for it.

When the Miami head coach Brian Flores gets asked to clear the fog over the rumors, he replied, “I’m interested in the players on our team… reports, speculation are not things we really get into.” His diplomatic replies did not reveal much about their current stance on trade with Houston Texans.

As per the current scenario, Tua Tagovailoa gets the spot of the primary quarterback for the Dolphins this season. The coach feels confident on him and his crisp preseason spell has produced some promising stats.
