Patrick Mahomes has led the Kansas City Chiefs to the AFC Championship for the fourth time in a row. Doing it time and time again has made Mahomes a superstar that the franchise was looking for in the past. And it looks as if he will be here for the most part of his career.

While on the flip side, the Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has put up a similar show, though not as effective. Judging by their years in the league, it seems that the NFL is now heading towards a change in the course of its rivalries. Going from a Tom Brady vs. Eli Manning dominant phase, the NFL is now entertained by the matchups between Patrick Mahomes vs. Josh Allen.

It has been two consecutive seasons now that the two young quarterbacks have met in the postseason and have put on a show. Recently, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills locked horns in the Arrowhead Stadium for a dramatic overtime clash. It was tough to evaluate which quarterback was the better one, since both were equally resilient, competitive, and committed.

It was raining touchdowns in the Arrowhead Sunday night between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. The two youngsters proved that their rivalry still has a long way to go. It was an unfortunate way to end the season for the Bills. The Chiefs were declared the winner while Josh Allen did not even touch the ball in the overtime.

The NFL Twitter also pointed out that the league needs to change its approach on the overtime rule since the outcome of the whole season cannot be decided by a mere coin toss. However, the history has repeated itself as the Chiefs have once again downed the Bills in the playoffs. The last time these two sides met the Bills lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game the previous season.

However, this is not the end. The two quarterbacks will meet again, and it is going to be ugly. The rivalry between these two beasts still have a long way to go, and the AFC will see more actions just like this in the near future.
