Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Brittany Rips Cincinnati Mayor In 2 Words For ‘Paternity’ Remark, Fueling Rage In Chiefs Fans Before Heated Matchup

Patrick Mahomes, QB for the Kansas City Chiefs, is widely regarded as one of the best QBs in the NFL. Mahomes is well on his way to cementing his status as one of the greatest players to take the field. Off the field, he is also a devoted husband to his wife Brittany. Recently, however, a comment made by Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval has caused a stir among fans and the Mahomes family. 

Cincinnati’s star QB Joe Burrow holds an unbeaten 3-0 record against Mahomes. Referring to this, Mayor Pureval decided to take a jab at Mahomes. Pureval issued a proclamation that has massive potential to flop if the Bengals are not able to pull off a victory against the Chiefs.

Mayor Pureval takes a dig at Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs

29th of January, 2023 declared “They Gotta Play Us Day” in Cincinnati. He made the statement in reference to the upcoming game between the Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals on the 29th.

The comment was seen as a slight against Mahomes, but the ultimate taunt was yet to come. Pureval announced that he’s asked officials to take a paternity test for Joe Burrow to know whether he’s Patrick Mahomes’ ‘father.’ The comment has had Chiefs’ fans livid and even incited a response from Patrick’s wife, Brittany.

She was quick to respond to Pureval’s comments on social media. 

Her message was simple but powerful, and it resonated with fans of the Chiefs and the NFL community as a whole.

Pureval’s comments have sparked anger among Chiefs fans, who see it as an insult to their team and its star player. The comment has added fuel to the fire ahead of the upcoming matchup between the Chiefs and the Bengals. Fans have already been excited about the game and are now feeling even more motivated to cheer on the Chiefs. 

But Bengals fans are prepared to take on the heat. Fans of Burrow and the Bengals went after Brittany Mahomes, following her powerfully worded tweet.

The game between the Chiefs and the Bengals will be heated, with both teams looking to come out on top. But for the Mahomes family and Chiefs fans, the game has taken on an added significance in the wake of Pureval’s comment. Fans will be cheering even louder for the widely popular Chiefs, and for Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes has a point to prove by picking up his first win against Burrow and the Bengals. Expect the Chiefs to stomp out all guns blazing, as soon as the starting whistle blows. Mahomes is certainly not one to take disrespect lying down. However, one thing is for sure – both teams are going to bring everything they’ve got. We are in line for a thrilling matchup between the two sides.
